We have had such a positive first week in Prep! The focus this week has been on settling into our classroom, learning routines, and getting to know each other.

Students have been learning how our classroom works — where materials belong, how to move safely around the space, and what our daily routines look like. We have practised packing up, sitting on the mat, listening to others, and transitioning between activities.

A big part of our week has been building our class community. Through games, discussions, and shared activities, students have been learning how we work in our new classroom space. We have also been learning about respect, kindness, and sharing. We have been practising using kind words, taking turns, and working cooperatively during play and learning tasks.
