Principal Report

School Production
We are excited to begin preparations for our 2026 School Production.
Auditions for lead roles will take place next Wednesday 25th March for our Year 5 and 6 students. We are looking forward to seeing our students step up and showcase their talents.
Further information regarding performance times and tickets will be shared early next term, so please stay tuned.
We are also pleased to have Mrs Nicole Everett leading the production, with the support of many staff and parents.
NAPLAN
Our Year 3 and Year 5 students have now completed the NAPLAN assessments. We are proud of the way they approached the process with focus and a positive attitude.
As a school, we use NAPLAN data alongside our own assessments to support teaching and learning. It helps us identify student needs, plan targeted instruction and continue to strengthen our programs across all year levels.
Well done to all of our students for their efforts.
Thank you to Mrs Bridie Kelly, our Teaching and Learning Leader, for coordinating the process, along with the support of our Year 3 and Year 5 staff.
Kinder Visits
On Monday, our Year 4S students visited Hampton Community Kinder, where they developed their leadership skills and spent time engaging in activities with the younger children. It was wonderful to see the care, patience and enthusiasm shown by our students.
This experience is a great example of the strong community connections we value at our school.
Year 4S will return to Hampton Community Kinder next Monday, and in Term 2 we look forward to welcoming the kinder students to St Mary’s for a fun morning of activities.
