Our Visit to Wolston Farmhouse

A few weeks ago, Year 2 visited Wolston Farmhouse in Wacol. We explored the old farmhouse and learnt about what life was like for families many years ago. We looked at the rooms, old furniture and tools that people used in their everyday lives. The students enjoyed discovering how things were different from today. We were especially excited to explore the farm and imagine what it would have been like to live there long ago. It was a fun and interesting day filled with learning, exploring and new experiences!

I enjoyed it all and liked learning about the past.

We saw how scones are made and how to dust with an ostrich duster.
