Each year, as part of our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) program at Peakhurst Public School, we send a team to the Stage 3 Gifted and Talented Mathematics Competition Day at Sydney Technical High School.
This year the team that represented our school was: Darren Then, Chloe lee, Benjamin Su, Ryan Lai and Linda Le.
The students eagerly participated in three rounds of mathematic challenges including the Group Competition, Swiss Competition and a Relay Competition.
Our Stage 3 students demonstrated fantastic perseverance, enthusiasm and problem-solving skills throughout the day. They worked collaboratively and challenged themselves, worked through tricky problems and gave every task their best effort. We are incredibly proud of their determination, resilience and willingness to have a go!
