Year 6 Winter Playoffs 

Last week our Hockey, Netball and Soccer teams competed against various schools in our district. All our teams showed resilience and determination that helped them improve with every match they played. In true SMPPS style they played with a great attitude displaying our school values.  

A proud moment as a teacher watching on is when other schools and parents comment that SMPPS is a good side, and they play fair.  

The soccer team played against Toorak, Caulfield & Middle Park and finished at the top of pool B. This qualified them to play in the final against Port Melbourne PS who finished at the top of Pool A.  

The final was intense, but our players held their composure, scores being 0-0 at the final whistle. After a nail-biting match, we clinched the championship title with a penalty shoot out! 

Congratulations to the soccer team who will progress to the next stage.  

A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers, parent helpers and students.
