As it is coming close to Christmas and children wanting e-bikes and e-scooters for presents, the Moorabbin Proactive Police Unit would like to remind the parents of the dangers and risks that are associated with them and to seriously consider the safety risks that are involved with these machines. Also note, there is also evidence of fires occurring from the lithium batteries which has resulted in fatal house fires.
