First National Springfield sponsors important cause

FN Springfield’s team (Augustine Heights, QLD) took the afternoon off the tools to proudly sponsor the Greater Springfield Chamber’s annual Go Pink Lunch, which supports fundraising for breast cancer research.

FN Neilson Partners’ crew (Narre Warren, VIC) spent some time out on the street, hosting a sausage sizzle and asking the question, ‘RU OK?’ 

David Doherty & David Small ride in Postie Bike Dash again

As ardent supporters of Variety’s Postie Bike Dash, David Doherty of FN Tamworth (NSW) will ride his 11th Postie Bike Dash as ‘David Red Dog Doherty’ with the sponsorship of First National Foundation. David Small of FN Coffs Harbour is also riding again, as part of the FN Wascally Wabbits team.

The Variety Postie Bike Dash is a six-day ride throughout NSW on Postie Bikes. Riders go off the beaten track, travelling through the gorgeous Australian bush and countryside, stopping in at rural towns and schools along the way for a tasty feast and entertainment. With each stop, Variety makes a donation in support of kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.

Variety’s Postie Bike Dash has enjoyed the sponsorship of FN Foundation for many years now, but a little known fact is that riders must pay their own accommodation and fuel costs, plus take on the risks of a 1,500 km ride on classic Australia Post motor bikes.
