Theircare

Our school has partnered with an independent provider called TheirCare to provide exceptional Outside School Hours Care services for our school community.

The program is available for all children at Lockington Consolidated School from 7:00am until 8:45am in the morning and from 3:25pm until 6:00pm each school day.

During Pupil Free Days the service will operate, providing a minimum of 6 students are enrolled in the program from 7:00am until 6:00pm.

Families are eligible for a Government Rebate called the Child Care Subsidy which can reduce the cost per session by up to 90%.

TheirCare provides a stimulating and safe environment for all children. During sessions, children develop life-skills, friendships, confidence and creativity through play-based programs.

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE IS NOW MORE AFFORDABLE

CHILD CARE SUBSIDY (CCS) WILL COVER UP TO 90% OF FEES

• Most families using childcare will get a higher rate of CCS.
• Families earning $83,280 or less will get 90% subsidy.  (Approx. $1.99 before school care and approx. $2.72 after school care per child per day).
• Families earning over $83,280 and under $533,280 will get a subsidy that tapers down from 90%, depending on their income. The subsidy will go down 1% for each $5,000 earned.
