Year 1/2 News

Welcome back for 2025. The Grade 1/2 students have settled so well into their new rooms and should be so proud of how they have worked together and supported each other.

This week in Maths

We have been representing and ordering numbers. Students have been able to use word form, numerals, tens frames, tally marks, pictures and addition and subtraction problems. We have also learnt the game 'Number Snake', playing in pairs to order numbers.

This week in Speaking

Students have enjoyed sharing 'All about Me' in their classes. It has been pleasing to see students coming prepared and discussing these at home.
