Last term, we were delighted to welcome Samantha Richards, owner, founder, director and artist of Muyan Story, to our school. 

Samantha, a proud descendant of the Wurundjeri and Dja Dja Wurrung People, shared her culture through storytelling, personal artefacts, including an engraved wallaby skin and an engraved possum skin, and the meaning behind Indigenous symbols. 

Students enjoyed participating in a design activity, and Samantha is now using inspiration from their artwork to create a special mural for our new building. We look forward to seeing the finished mural and celebrating this meaningful collaboration.
