Message from Karlie Gooding

Welcome back to Term 3! I hope everyone had the chance to enjoy a relaxing break and spend some quality time with family and friends. It has been wonderful to see our students return with enthusiasm, ready for another exciting term of learning, growth, and achievement.

A big focus for us this term is our transition to Compass. This new platform will enhance communication between home and school, making it easier to access important information, attendance records, student reports, and school updates. I would like to extend a huge thank you to our parents and carers for your patience, understanding, and support throughout this change. Your cooperation has been greatly appreciated as we work together to ensure a smooth changeover.

This term we are also delighted to welcome three new members to our staff team: Lori Lundberg as Acting Business Manager, Kelly Deacey as Assistant Principal and Lauren Chan as Speech Pathologist. We are excited to have them join our school community and know they will bring new ideas, enthusiasm, and expertise to our school. Please join me in making them feel welcome as they settle in.

There is also plenty of excitement surrounding our new building, which is getting closer and closer to completion. It has been wonderful to watch the progress, and we look forward to sharing more updates as we work towards opening this fantastic new learning environment for our students and staff. 

Term 3 promises to be a busy and rewarding one, with many opportunities for learning, celebrations, and community events. I am looking forward to seeing our students continue to grow, challenge themselves, and make the most of every opportunity that comes their way.
