What's On in 5/6

Garden:

Our students have been working hard in the garden and loving the opportunity to learn a range of new skills. From planting and caring for seedlings to maintaining our garden beds, everyone has shown enthusiasm and teamwork. On rainy days, the learning continues in the classroom as students investigate different plants and take a deep dive into the fascinating world of plants and how they grow. 

Biographies:

Students have been working incredibly hard as they learn about influential Australian people through our biography unit. They have been researching the lives and achievements of their chosen person and discovering what makes them inspiring role models. To accompany their writing, students also created detailed portraits that reflect everything they have learnt. We can’t wait to showcase their amazing work at our upcoming Literacy Safari!
