A Place of Belonging

National Boarding Week is always a wonderful time to celebrate our boarders. This year’s theme is Echoes of Home. 

Every day throughout the week we have celebrated each cohort performing a dance into dinner, every boarder telling us where they are from and pinning their location on our newly mounted map of the world, the annual I love boarding cupcakes, positive vibes and affirmations to each other, dinner with friends in your PJ’s. Celebrations will end on Saturday with a BBQ breakfast prepared by our boarding leaders.

This week we farewell our Saint Kentigern College Auckland New Zealand exchange students, Mima and Ollie, who we have had the absolute pleasure of hosting. Thank you to the Warburton family and the Hutchins, Sos and Dryden day families who also hosted our boarders and their buddies throughout the exchange program.

Boarding Events and Celebrations

All boarding parents are invited to join our boarding table booked for the upcoming Luminous Lunch on Friday 12 June. This table will be hosted by our Friends of Boarder Parents Co-ordinator, Hannah Madill, and me. We look forward to catching up with those who can join us.
