Week 4 - Friday 15th May - Year 4 Grade Mass
Week 5 - Friday 22nd May - Year 3 Grade Mass

As a faith community, today we celebrated the Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima. This special occasion reminded us of Mary’s message of prayer, peace, kindness and trust in God. Through her example, we are encouraged to care for others, show compassion and grow in faith each day.
To mark this important day, students wore mufti clothing in our school colours of blue, gold and white. Years 4-6 attended a Parish Mass at 9:15am, while students in Kindergarten to Year 3 participated in a special liturgy at school.
We warmly thank the parents and families who joined us as we came together in prayer and celebration.
May Our Lady of Fatima continue to watch over our school community and guide us to live with faith, hope and love.

As we journey through the beautiful season of Easter, the month of May holds a special place in the Catholic Church as the Month of Mary. Throughout this month, we honour Mary, the Mother of Jesus, for her faith, love and unwavering trust in God. Mary is a wonderful role model for us all, showing kindness, courage and compassion in the way she lived her life.
During May, students will spend time learning more about Mary and praying the Rosary together as a school community. The Rosary is a special prayer that helps us reflect on the life of Jesus through the eyes of Mary. As we pray, we ask Mary to guide us closer to her Son and help us grow in love, peace and faith.
We encourage families to take time during May to pray together, especially the Rosary, even if it is just one decade each evening. May this special month be a time of blessing, reflection and hope for all in our school community.

As part of their faith journey, our Year 6 students will soon be preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday 21st June.
Confirmation is a special sacrament in which students are strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit and continue their commitment as active members of the Catholic Church.
To begin their preparation, candidates and their families are invited to attend the Commitment Mass on Saturday 23rd May. This important occasion marks the beginning of the students’ sacramental journey as they commit to preparing for Confirmation with faith, reverence and openness to God’s spirit.
We ask our school community to keep our Year 6 students and their families in your prayers as they begin this sacred and meaningful time in their lives.
Dear Our Lady of Fatima,
We come before you with hearts full of gratitude and love. On this special feast day, we remember your appearances to the three children in Portugal and the messages of peace, prayer, and hope you shared. Help us to follow your example by praying the Rosary, offering sacrifices, and seeking peace in our hearts and in the world.
Bless Our Lady of Fatima school, our families, and all who are in need of your loving care. Guide us to live with kindness, faith, and compassion, just as you taught the children at Fatima.
Our Lady of Fatima, Pray for Us!
Amen.
Have a beautiful week!
