News from our Principal

Dear Parents,

Today we celebrated Our Lady of Fatima Feast Day with a beautiful Parish Mass that Years 4-6 attended and a Liturgy led by Year 3 for the K-3 students. The students have been engaged in some lovely activities today about our patron saint Mary and listened to the story of the appearance of Mary to the three shepherd children in Portugal. In the words of our school song we ask Our Lady of Fatima to continue to guide us, protect us and nurture us “under her protection as we follow her on our way, standing together as a loving community.”

Holy Mary, Mother of God,

pray for me that I will have

a heart like yours-

A heart that is generous

patient, full of love for God

and trust in his care.

Help me to pray like you

as I remember all the good

things that God has done.

Our Mother’s Day Breakfast, Liturgy and Open Classrooms was a truly lovely morning last week, filled with smiles, conversation, and a wonderful sense of community. A heartfelt thank‑you to all the parents and carers who joined us, and an extra‑special thank‑you to our amazing parent helpers whose time, energy, and generosity made the event run so smoothly. We are grateful for everything you do to support our school. A special thank you to the sponsors who provided our lucky door prizes and Pulse Real Estate who provided the Coffee Cart. It truly was a wonderful morning and our school community is stronger because of all of you!

Last week we also experienced our annual Athletics Carnival and we were blessed with fine weather on the day. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their physical abilities and demonstrate their team spirit. Thank you to those who attended and volunteered their time, sharing in the community spirit in such positive ways. A big shout out to Ms Reid who organised and led a highly successful sporting event at OLF! We are so lucky to have you Ms Reid!
