Sport Update
Athletics Carnival
This term we hosted our EMC Athletics Carnival at Casey Fields Athletics track. So many students got involved in the day and supported their house to the fullest!
Our year 12s got to dress up as ‘Something starting with the first letter of your name’ and they delivered! From cardboard cuts out to extremely long wigs, the year 12’s costumes were amazing. We also saw the year 12s compete in a 3-legged race and a staff vs. student relay!
Students from all different year levels managed to break some of our school records!

Interschool Sport
We’ve had a large number of teams head out to compete for Interschool Sport and received some amazing results!
Girls Football Results:
Senior Girls - had one game at Ballam against Frankston and unfortunately lost
(30-1).
Intermediate Girls - defeated Patterson River (25-0), McClelland (51-7), Carrum Downs (45-0) and faced Frankston in the Grand Final, taking home the win (15-7) and will compete at Region next term!
Junior Girls – defeated Frankston’s B team (89-0), McClelland (48-6) and faced Patterson River in the Grand Final, taking home the win (45-20) and will compete at Region next term!
Congratulations to all the girls that represented EMC in Girls footy. Outstanding effort from each and every one of you. Good luck to our Intermediate and Junior Girls at Region!
Interschool Sport Results:
Our Intermediates were the next to head out to compete in Soccer, Girls Netball, Boys Football and Badminton!

Langwarrin Family Chiropractic Achievement of the Year Award
This month’s nominee is Grady Woods! Grady stood out in our Athletics Carnival, showcasing his athletics skills across many events and even placing in the top 3 for majority of them! He will represent EMC in the NPD Athletics Championships next term, good luck Grady and congratulations on the nomination!
