CPS Colour Run on 16th October! đđŚ
Get excited Carnegie, the PFA is holding another Colour Run on Friday 16th October!Â
Â
đď¸Date: Friday 16th October 2026Â
âąď¸Time: 1:30-3:30pm over four separate sessions
đWhere: CPS school groundsÂ
Â
A Colour Run is a fun, non-competitive event where students complete a course around the school grounds. Along the way they will be sprayed with water and showered with safe, non-toxic coloured powder. Students are encouraged to wear white to get as colourful as possible!Â
Â
CPSâs first-ever Colour Run in 2024 was an outstanding success. Not only did the kids have an absolute ball, but over $20k was raised and put towards playground improvements. This yearâs Colour Run will be raising funds for a new gaga pit and safe play upgrades. Â
Â
The Colour Run is free for all CPS students to participate. Students are encouraged to collect sponsorships from family and friends but fundraising is completely optional. Fundraising will once again be managed via Qkr and the class that raises the most funds will get a special lunch put on by the PFA!Â

Students will be given an event invite and sponsorship form this week but more information can be found on the dedicated event page along with links to:

Parents volunteers wanted
While parents are welcome to watch the event from outside the school grounds, only registered volunteers will be allowed on-site during the event.
Â
If youâre keen to volunteer, please complete the expression of interest form (EOI) via SignUp:Â https://signup.com/go/rfQFDNpÂ
Â
Please note signing up doesnât guarantee a volunteer spot, as weâre looking for a spread of parents across all grades. Volunteers must have a valid WWCC and be available for the duration of the event (12:30-4:30pm).Â
Celebrating Dads at CPS!
CPS Dads and father figures definitely felt the love on Friday 4th September with not one but four fabulous events for the dads and the kids throughout the day!
Â
Celebrations kicked off at drop-off with free barista-made coffee for dads, thanks to the generosity of Slater + Levin. Big thank you also to Sheridan Waldash for organising the coffee van.Â
Â
During the morning CPS students were able to visit the Fathers & Special Personâs Stall to buy a gift for the special men in their lives. Thank you to Mandi Katzenstein for once again organising the stall, and those parents who helped out. Special shout-out to Mandi & Philly Jackman for making sure the kids at District Athletics and their dads didnât miss out either and arrange special pre-purchases.Â
Â
After school the CPS community came together for the Father's Day BBQ! The rain held off and we had a huge turnout of students and family members enjoying a snag, a chat and a play. Thank you again to Sheridan Waldash for stepping in this year to organise the BBQ along with Philly Jackman, Monica Espinosa and Brennan Carroll (plus parent volunteers and our student helpers!)Â
Â
Finally, festivities continued with some kid-free drinks for dads at the Gardiner Hotel while watching the footy. Thanks to Anthony Hillier for organising and all the blokes who came along.
Â
Big thanks to all our parent volunteers who stepped up on the day, and all those dads who got involved. We hope you all enjoyed your special gifts on Fatherâs Day morning.Â
Bakers Delight Dough Getters
Â
Bakers Delight Carnegie definitely came to the party to support our recent Fatherâs Day BBQ, donating 200 loaves of bread. In return theyâve asked the PFA to spread their word about their Dough Getters loyalty rewards program.Â
Â
With Dough Getters you can enjoy real rewards, with none of the complex funny business.
