The school looks forward to welcoming parents and carers to the school’s Annual Athletics Carnival on Friday 1st May. Parents who have completed the Working With Children School’s Induction are invited as volunteers to assist with the organisation of events or as spectators to support student participation.


This event will be held at:
Sylvania Waters Athletics Track and Field, Belgrave Esplanade Sylvania Waters commencing at 9.00am.
In the event of wet weather a notification will be sent out via COMPASS stating alternative arrangements.
Please view the Sports section of the Newsletter for information related to this event and student entries.


Students are to officially wear their winter uniform from Monday 11th May. With the changing weather conditions during early Autumn students may wear summer or winter uniforms when returning to school in Term Two.
Parents please ensure that your child is not wearing
a combination of both uniforms during this period.
Parents are reminded of the importance of students wearing their uniform correctly and with pride. School hats are required for all outdoor activities aligned with our school policy- ‘no hat no play’. Please ensure that your child is wearing white or black sport shoes - no Converse boots or skate shoes.
A reminder that long hair needs to be tied back (this also includes boys/ hairstyles-mullets or shaved hair designs are not permitted). Correct school shoes and socks are to be worn.
A uniform reminder notice will be sent home if students are not wearing the correct school uniform.


Our school’s first Term Two Staff Development Day is scheduled for Friday 24th April. On this day teachers will be offsite participating in a series of Curriculum Development courses designed by Sydney Catholic Schools and aligned with the NESA English Syllabus K-6.
Parents please be reminded that Monday 27th April is a public holiday in recognition of Anzac Day.


All mothers, grandmothers and carers are invited to school to have a special breakfast with their child/children on Friday 8th May from 7.30am.
A special Mother’s Day breakfast pack will be available for families to order.
Information regarding ordering breakfast boxes will be available in Week 1 Term 2.
Parents, carers and grandparents are invited to our school Mother’s Day Liturgy which will be on Friday 8th May commencing at 9.00am on the Top Playground following the Mother’s Day breakfast.


Students are invited to take part in a local Easter Colouring Competition hosted by Simon Kennedy, our Federal Member for Cook.
This is a fun activity for the school holidays, with a fantastic prize on offer, a signed Cronulla Sharks jersey and a family pass to a Sharks home game!
