Netball NSW School Cup: Team Spirit and Strong Performances in Albury

Three teams travelled to Albury on Monday 19 May, to compete in the Secondary Competition of the Netball NSW School Cup with two 7/8 teams and one 9/10 team. All students performed exceptionally well, showing skill, resilience and strong teamwork throughout the day.

The 9/10 team had a fantastic showing, winning three of their five games and finishing 3rd in their pool. Thank you to Ms James for her expert coaching and for bringing out the best in the team.

The 7/8 Martin team showed significant growth throughout the competition. They secured two wins from their five matches, demonstrating persistence and determination against every opponent. Thank you to Gemma Joyce for her dedicated coaching and support. The girls thoroughly enjoyed their experience.

Our most successful team of the day was the 7/8 Chanter team, who finished 2nd in their pool and progressed to the semi-final playoffs. They delivered an outstanding performance in their crossover match against the top team in Pool B, earning a place in Phase 2 of the competition, which will be held in Term 3 (date to be confirmed).

A special thank you to our three incredible umpires: Renea Harris, Aleisha and Sharon Moon, who were each selected to officiate in the finals. Your expertise and professionalism were instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and success of the day.
