We are thrilled to announce that construction on two major building projects will officially commence in Term 2. These developments represent a significant investment in our school’s future and our students' learning environments:

⚠️ Important Access Changes
To ensure the safety of our students and allow for construction vehicle access, there will be significant changes to pedestrian and vehicle routes starting Day 1, Term 2.
During the Upcoming School Holidays: We will be installing new pedestrian crossings and speed humps. Please note that access to the school and carparking will change during the holiday period.
We will be sending a detailed email to all families before the start of Term 2. This email will include maps and specific instructions regarding traffic flow and pedestrian entry points. Please keep an eye on your inbox and read this communication carefully to ensure a smooth and safe transition back to school.
We thank you for your patience and support as we build these fantastic new facilities for our students.
As part of our upcoming ANZAC Day commemorations, we are putting together a special video presentation to honour the service men and women within our school family.
Rather than just learning about history from a distance, we want our students to see the personal connections we have to the ADF and past conflicts. We are inviting all families, Defence and non-Defence, to contribute a photo of a family member who has served or is currently serving.
What we need: We are looking for photos of parents, grandparents, or extended family members who have served in any branch of the ADF or in allied forces during times of conflict or peace.
How to submit: Please click on the button below to submit your digital photo. You will be asked to include the following details (if known) so we can include them in the slide captions:
If you only have a physical hard copy of a photo, please bring it to the front office. We would be happy to scan it for you and return the original immediately.
Please submit all photos by Monday 20th of April.
Thank you for helping us make our time of remembrance personal and powerful for our students.
Some parents have been asking how they can access the Parent Portal easily. A Parent App is coming soon and this will make it easier but in the meantime here are some helpful tips for accessing the portal.
From a desktop computer
Click on this link https://portals.veracross.au/nowra/parent
OR

From a mobile device

2. iPhone users can add an icon for the portal to their home screen. Go to the Safari app on your iPhone. Go to the website you want to add to your Home Screen, then tap Share. Scroll down the list of options, then tap Add to Home Screen.
Students will need to be dressed in their best full school uniform. Please make sure your child's uniform is clean and tidy. Due to the busyness of the front office, no uniforms will be sold on the day, so please ensure you purchase your children's uniform prior to photo day, if needed.
Orders will need to be placed online. Details below.

Earlier this year our government gazetted a new public holiday in NSW. Monday 27 April 2026 will now be a Public Holiday in lieu of ANZAC Day which falls on a Saturday this year.
Did you know the NSW Government will soon be making new laws to help keep people safe on e-bikes?
These laws will include things like:
These laws will impact young people the most.
Make sure you have a say before Thursday, 16 April 2026!
You can take this survey if:
Your answers are anonymous, which means no one will know what you say.
We want to know what you actually think and how you really use e-bikes in your everyday life, so we can help the NSW Government make better policies and decisions for young people.

A number of cases of head lice have been reported within our school community.
Head lice are spread mostly by direct head to head contact but may also be spread by sharing of hats, combs and other hair accessories. Anyone can get head lice.
To prevent the spread of head lice it is recommended you check your child(ren) daily over the next few weeks and on a regular basis thereafter.
Head lice is much easier to treat if caught early.
Please inform the school if your child presents with head lice and ensure they are treated before returning.
If your child will be absent for school, it would be appreciated if you could complete and submit the form below (this is on the Parent Portal, so you will need to log in with your Veracross Login) or call the school office on Ph: 4422 1199 prior to school starting. If no notification is received, an SMS will be sent out to you which will require you complete the same absence form.
This form can be completed in advance if you know your child will be away from school for any reason. However it cannot be completed retrospectively, please contact the office if you need to explain a past absence.
