Take advantage of the change in pace to get cosy and read over the Easter break. Reading is hands down one of the greatest super-habits you can develop. It adds to our ability to think, to empathise, and to our overall levels of happiness.
Did you know that researchers have found that reading just 20 minutes a day puts students in the top group of learners at school? You can break up your daily reading into smaller chunks of time, listen to audio books in the car, read as a family or have your own reading time - they are all powerful ways to enjoy stories.
Students will be coming home with a bookmark to record their reading and Mrs Winter is updating her reading photos so send yours through to library@ncs.nsw.edu.au. Looking forward to seeing your cosy reading spaces and collecting your bookmarks when we return. Hoppy Reading!
