TRIBES - Lift Others Up!
As part of Bullying NO WAY Week, our students came together for a special Multiaged Tribes session focused on Lifting Others Up.
Students explored what it means to notice when someone might need a little encouragement and how our words and actions can help others feel included, valued and supported.
Through teamwork, discussion and a fun activity, our students were reminded that we all have the power to lift someone up. Whether it’s through a kind word, inviting someone to join in, standing up for others or simply showing that we care.
Together, we can help make POPS a place where everyone feels they belong.
The NED Show takes a positive stand on bullying by offering four ways that students can be an upstander (vs a bystander) when they see bullying. The four ways are:
1) Be a buddy
2) Interrupt the bully
3) Speak out about bullying
4) Tell someone at school about the bullying.
By using The NED Show's tips to stop bullying, kids will be upstanders, and will stand up to bullying!
