Book Week Celebration
Next week is Book Week, and we are excited to announce our Book Parade will take place on Wednesday, August 20th!
Make sure to come dressed as your favourite book character to join in on the fun. The theme is to "Book an Adventure"
Support Our Library!
During the Book Parade, I will have a special stand where students can purchase a book to donate to our library. Each donated book will have the student’s name recorded inside, and they will be the very first borrower! It’s a wonderful way to contribute to our library collection.
Author/ Illustrator Visit Recap
Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming the talented author and illustrator David Legge to our school. All students participated in a session with him involving the process of making a book and many other amazing activities, and it was a fantastic experience that was very well received!
Book Tasting in the Library
As part of our Book Week activities, Stage 3 students will be engaging in a "book tasting" experience, exploring books from the Younger Readers category. We can’t wait to see what new favourites they discover!
Inner West Writing Competition Years 3-6
If you received an email from me notifying you that your child has won the Inner West Writing Competition, please remember to secure a ticket for the Awards Ceremony. It will be held next Wednesday, August 20th, at Ashfield Town Hall.
