Dear Parents

It was a pleasure to spend some time with those who attended the parent session for the school pilgrimage last Monday.  What a memorable and meaningful way for our whole school community to mark the Jubilee year of Hope. 

Playgroup

Our Playgroup continues  on Thursday mornings, from 9:00 am -10:30 am in the school hall.  I look forward to welcoming all preschool aged children, together with their parents, grandparents and carers for a morning of play, craft and Storytime.

Friday Rosary

Many thanks to those students and parents who have joined us in praying a  decade of  the Rosary each Friday morning at 8:30 am inside the church.  All are invited to join us tomorrow on the Feast of the Assumption of our Lady Mass, to gather as a community, united in prayer.  Please come and join us even if you have never prayed the Rosary before.  Rosary beads will be provided for everyone.

Vinnies Van Volunteers

Volunteering with the Vinnies Van is a practical way to put our faith into action. Thank you to the parents who volunteered their time at our last outreach trip.  If you are interested in attending our next volunteer day at Lewisham, please email me at ana.seric@syd.catholic.edu.au for more details.

SCS Parent Conference

A friendly reminder that Sydney Catholic Schools are holding a Parent Conference on Friday August 29th, with speakers who will present on varied topics, designed to inspire and support us as parents.  It will be held at Revesby Workers' Club at 9:30 am, and conclude in time for school pick-up.  I encourage you to book your tickets soon as this is a free event, with lunch provided, and likely to sell out.
