đŁ Careers Newsletter â Term 3 Update
As we move through a busy and exciting Term 3, the Careers Team would like to share some important updates and reminders regarding upcoming events and key milestones for our senior students.
Â
đ VCE & VCE VM Information Night â A Great Success!
Thank you to all students, parents, and carers who attended our recent VCE and VCE VM Information Night. The evening was a great success, with a strong turnout and plenty of insightful questions asked at the conclusion of the presentation. We hope the presentations provided clarity around subject selection, program structures, and future pathway options. If you were unable to attend, presentation materials are available upon request from the Careers Office.
Â
đ Year 10 Course Counselling Interviews
Our Year 10 Course Counselling Interviews have now taken place, and it has been fantastic to see students thoughtfully considering their future pathways. These one-on-one sessions offered a valuable opportunity to explore subject choices and align them with career goals and further education options. A big thank you to all students and families who engaged in the process.
Â
đź VM (Vocational Major) Interviews Underway
Interviews for students expressing interest in the VCE Vocational Major (VM) are currently being held. These interviews help ensure the VM pathway is a good fit based on student interests, learning preferences, and career aspirations. If you havenât yet attended your interview, please ensure you check your appointment time or contact the Middle Sub School to reschedule if needed.
Â
đ Year 12 VTAC Applications & Preferences
Our Year 12 students are now in the process of creating their VTAC accounts and entering course preferences for university and tertiary study in 2026. Itâs been wonderful to see so many students exploring their options and making informed decisions about their futures.
A few important reminders:
- VTAC Course Preferences must be submitted by Sunday, September 29th.
- SEAS (Special Entry Access Scheme) applications are due by Thursday, September 5th.
We encourage all students to book a careers appointment if they need help with course selection, SEAS documentation, or understanding the VTAC application process.
