Country to Canberra’s 2025 Leadership Competition
Are you a young person from regional Australia who is passionate about advocating for your community? Country to Canberra wants to hear from you! Country to Canberra’s national Leadership Competition is open for 2025 - empowering young women and non-binary people aged 15 to18 years from regional Australia to reach their leadership potential. Winners will receive an all expenses paid trip to Canberra, where they will mingle with CEOs and politicians, receive career coaching, public speaking training and networking opportunities to accelerate their leadership journey. Previous winners have had private meetings with the Prime Minister and other politicians, been trained by TEDx speakers and completed media training to appear on TV! Is this you or someone you know? Moe Cricket Club
Moe Cricket Club invites all Under 14s and 16s to our open day! Get ready for an exciting Cricket season! Featuring a meet-and-greet with our new coaches, a fun training session including bowling machine batting and speedometers with pizza and soft drinks provided to participants.
WHEN– Wednesday 27th August 2025
WHERE- Moe Indoor Cricket Centre of Excellence at Ted Summerton Reserve.
TIME- Meet our coaches from 5:15pm with training to commence at 5:30 to 6:30pm.
Q & A session at 5.30pm for parents regarding the upcoming season and how you can be involved!
Our Coaches
The under 14’s will be coached by Jarryd Atkinson. After 3 seasons as the under 12’s coach, Jarryd steps up to the 14’s role and joining him will be Rob Sim as our assistant coach at training for 14s coaches.
The under 16’s will once again be coached by Paul Cake and he will be joined by Jim Keltie after a great season with the 14’s.
