RPS Band News
Welcome back to RPS Band for Term 3. We have a jam packed term for all our bands with lots of exciting events! Please put the following dates into your diaries.
Roselea 60th birthday event - Tuesday 5 August
The Concert band will be performing at the Education Week Assembly on the day.
Ryde Eisteddfod - Thursday 14 August
Training, Junior and Concert Bands will be taking part in the Ryde Eisteddfod at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club. A note has been sent home from school with more information.
Festival of Bands at Carlingford High School - Tuesday 26 August
Whole-day workshop with Carlingford High School bands and Roselea’s CB & JB and a half-day workshop for TB. The evening Festival of Bands concert will be held at Carlingford High School with ALL bands performing. Please Save the Date, as all band students are expected to attend. Tickets need to be purchased for all attending except the performing children. Ticket information will be available soon.
Band committee meeting - Wednesday 30th July at 7:30 pm
The RPS Band Program is run by parent volunteers and we have a few very key volunteers leaving at the end of the year. We would love more people to be involved with the Band Committee to keep the program running smoothly. Our next committee meeting will be held on Wednesday 30th July at 7:30 pm online. The link is in the whatsapp groups. We would love to see you there!
Term 3 band fee
Term 3 invoices will be sent out by Week 3.
