Congratulations to the 2025 NT Board of Studies Award Recipients
The Northern Territory Board of Studies Award Ceremony was held in Alice Springs on Friday 6 February at the Alice Springs Desert Park. The ceremony recognised the outstanding achievements of Alice Springs students from the previous year, particularly members of the graduating Class of 2025 who excelled in their studies.
The following students were presented with awards by the Northern Territory Minister for Education:
- La-on Canales Chun – (below left) Certificate of Merit (Physics); Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society Physics Award; Top Twenty NTCET Students (placed second in the Northern Territory with an ATAR of 99.75).
- Atticus Saladores – (below right) Department of Treasury and Finance Accounting Award.

Although unable to attend the ceremony, Dinev Thotawatta Bandulage was acknowledged for placing 17th in the 2025 Top Twenty NTCET students.
Congratulations also to Luke Pfeiffer, now in Year 7, who received a Certificate of Academic Excellence for his Year 6 studies.
