Cleaning Up after the Alice Springs Floods

The severe storms and flooding that swept through Alice Springs left a significant clean-up task across our College grounds. We are grateful that despite the Charles Creek rising considerably in a short period of time, there was only minimal damage to the College and no one was hurt.
We are incredibly grateful to the many staff and students who stepped in to help return our grounds to order. A very big thank you to our dedicated maintenance team, Graham and Matt, whose hard work behind the scenes ensured that the most urgent repairs and safety concerns were addressed promptly.
We also thank Mr Kimber, Mr Tudor, and our Year 9 and 10 Agriculture classes who rolled up their sleeves and contributed their time and energy to clearing up around the front gate and roundabout.
Thank you also to the Alice Springs Town Council workers, who were very quick to help clear the Charles Creek causeway to ensure students could get to school on Friday morning.
