Warinj Learning Update

We have had a wonderful start to Term 3! This term, we have been exploring feelings and emotions through stories and hands-on experiences. The Colour Monster by Anna Llenas has been one of our favourite books, helping the children connect different colours with different emotions while encouraging them to recognise, understand, and talk about their feelings. Through our discussions and playful experiences, the children are developing important emotional awareness, empathy, and early emotional regulation skills.

We have also had so much fun exploring music and movement with our colourful scarves, participating in a Chinese Ribbon Dance incursion, and enjoying dance parties during our outdoor program. 

Our new Bakery Café has quickly become a favourite dramatic play space, inspiring imaginative play as they bake, make coffees, serve their friends, and enjoy rich conversations together. Over the coming weeks, we will continue building on the children's interests while extending our exploration of emotions, friendships, kindness, creativity, imaginative play, and hands-on learning experiences. We look forward to sharing many more special learning moments with you throughout the rest of the term.
