The 3/4 students have been busy learning all about "telling time" in maths. Students have started calculating elapsed times between events using their knowledge of addition and subtraction to help them. You can support them at home by asking them to practice. For example: "If basketball training starts at 5.30 and finishes at 6.45... how long does it go for?"

In Literacy, 3/4 students have been writing persuasive speeches to be elected as a councillor for each class - linking to our Guided Inquiry topic where we are learning all about Civics and Citizenship.
