Dear Sacred Heart Community,

Thank you so much to all the parents and grandparents that came along to be part of a very special ceremony held this week at Sacred Heart. Uncle Perry Wandin came and welcomed us to his father's and his grandfather's country and then performed a SMOKING CEREMONY for our school community.   

I was impressed by our students and their capacity to understand the significance of such a special occasion. The respect shown to Uncle Perry was tremendous and I would like to thank all students for entering into that special ceremony with understanding and appreciation.
