Somers Camp Report

On the 26th of May to the 3rd of June, 16 Year 5/6 students attended a 9-day Somers camp with different students from other schools.

There were 14 activities including an 18 and a half meter tall giant swing, rock climbing, abseiling, and flying fox. We also sang songs at assembly each morning to start the day. 

Halfway through the camp we had a visitor’s day for parents and family to come visit us. There were Guinea pigs we could feed in free time and night activities for before bed. We learnt about animals, the environment and bush craft.

It was a great opportunity to meet different people and something we will remember for ever. 

Thanks to the Somers Camp staff for making, it a once in a lifetime experience.
