Wellbeing Week

Wellbeing Week is a special time in our school calendar dedicated to supporting the mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing of our students. At primary school level, it’s an important opportunity to help children build positive habits, develop resilience, and learn skills that support their overall health and happiness.

Throughout the week, students took part in a range of age-appropriate activities focused on kindness, mindfulness, physical activity, healthy relationships, and managing emotions.

We have Wellbeing Week because we know that students thrive when they feel safe, happy and confident. By prioritising wellbeing, we are helping our students to engage more fully in their learning and develop the skills they need to succeed both at school and beyond.

We had a week filled with positivity, reflection and fun!

Five Reasons Grandparents Are the Absolute Best (According to Kids!)

  1. Unlimited Snacks Policy At Grandma and Grandpa’s house, one biscuit somehow turns into five… and no one’s counting.
  2. They Have Time for Everything Whether it’s playing the same board game 12 times or listening to a very long story about a worm, they are all in.
  3. Bedtimes? More Like ‘Suggestions’ Staying up a little later, watching just one more show… grandparents seem to have very flexible rules.
  4. They Think You’re Amazing (Even When You’re Not!) Spilled your drink? Drew on the wall? Somehow you’re still the cleverest kid ever.
  5. They’re Full of the Best Stories From when I was your age… to hilarious childhood tales, they always have great stories (and sometimes better ones every time you hear them!).

Grandparents = extra love, extra treats, and zero chance of leaving hungry or un-hugged!
