Principal's Message

Dear Holy Family Parents,

Celebrating Grandparents and Special Friends

Today we had the privilege of welcoming our grandparents and special friends into our classrooms. The day began with open classrooms, providing an opportunity for our guests to engage in learning alongside students, followed by a beautiful Mass. This was then complemented by a delightful morning tea in MacKillop Hall, where our Senior and Junior Bands proudly showcased their musical talents. Our talented student musicians presented outstanding performances, beautifully showcasing the spirit, creativity, and confidence of our learners. We trust that our guests were deeply impressed by the remarkable talents on display.

We are truly blessed to have grandparents and special friends as part of our school community. Their wisdom, guidance and unwavering support enrich the lives of our students and families in countless ways. We extend our sincere gratitude for their presence and the love they so generously share.

We also offer our heartfelt thanks to Father Colin for his contribution to the celebration, and to the parishioners who generously gave their time to support our community. In particular, we acknowledge those who participated in the “Adopt a Grandparent for the Day” initiative. Their kindness ensured that every child felt included and supported, especially those who were unable to have a grandparent present. This generosity truly reflects the strength and compassion of our community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mrs Stella, our dedicated staff, and all parents for their efforts in making this occasion so memorable. Your commitment and care are greatly valued.

We also acknowledge with gratitude the Parent Committee, our Year 3 parents, and our Year 3 students who assisted with the preparation and set-up of the morning tea. Special thanks are extended to our Year 4 parents, Bev Malkoun, Sulabah Bargoti, Maria Crino and Kim Ng for their organisation and support. We are most grateful for the generous contributions of food, which added so much to the warmth and enjoyment of the occasion.

In addition, we thank our grandparents and special friends for their support of the Book Fair. Your generosity in purchasing books and donating titles to our school library is sincerely appreciated and will benefit our students for many years to come. Thank you once again for contributing to such a meaningful and memorable celebration within our school community.

We are very excited to share the new Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) Partnership Principles: A Commitment by both Families and Schools

CSBB recognises that a strong, respectful partnership between families and schools is essential to the wellbeing, growth and success of every student. The CSBB Partnership Principles are an enhanced version of the Parent Charter, reflecting our shared commitment to working together with trust, openness and mutual respect.

These principles outline the responsibilities we hold together, families and schools, to foster positive partnerships, support learning, and create safe, inclusive communities where every child can flourish.
