GARDEN UPDATE

Recent high winds have seen some branches come down, much to the delight of the students who have been repurposing smaller flowering branches, nurturing, cultivating and caring for this new found garden they have created. They have been busy all week with rakes, watering cans and spades. Its been a joy to watch.

These last 2 weeks have seen a lot of growth in the garden with our potatoes and broad beans thriving. Wednesdays' Garden Club troopers have planted Silverbeet, Beetroot and Basil this week in the vegetable garden. We look forward to watching them grow.

Students have enjoyed using their maths and problem solving skills; reading, measuring planting width, putting up stakes and coverings.
