What an incredible term it has been!

We commend everyone for their efforts this term. We have continued the focus on -

People have a better day because I am here as part of the Holy Trinity School Team.

It has been a full term, with much to celebrate: Netball Schools Cup, Toni Palmer Memorial Cup Day, NAIDOC Celebrations, Art Show, Grandparents Day, 100 Days of Kindergarten, Bookfair, Athletics, beautiful masses led by our students, First Communion, Family Conferences, RE Test, Brain Olympia, Bookweek, St Joseph's Glen Innes Year 6, Visiting, Life Education Van, Sport experiences, Public Speaking Finals, Polding Athletics and so much more!

Public Speaking Success

Congratulations to all our students on their amazing efforts writing and presenting their speeches. The themes ranged from vets, cupcakes, camping, vaping - why it is bad, Country vs City, You Tube Age Restrictions, Green Energy vs Clean Energy, Getting rid of homework, Space, Are we losing the written word? and even Harry Houdini.

The topics were engaging for the audience and all students delivered their well-rehearsed speeches with confidence. The finals proved to be a great experience for all our Primary students to be part of.

We thank Mr Maddigan for coming to adjudicate and for sharing quality feedback to all our speakers.

Well done to our Public Speaking Winners for each year level -

Year 3: Zara Caskey

Year 4: Phoebe Hollingworth

Year 5: Ralph Mill

Year 6: Will Bloch

R U OK? Day

R U OK? Day is a national day of action and a reminder that every day is a good day to check in on the people in your life. We encouraged everyone to ask, "Are you okay?" and gave them ways to start a meaningful conversation. It was a chance for students to show the people in their world that they care and that there is always a good friend who can listen without judgment.

Our students interacted with each other for the day and engaged in exciting tasks. The pizza lunch was a treat and the K-2 disco was a hit. Our 3-6 students finished the day with a fun disco! Thank you to our Leaders of Student Care - Mrs Moore, Mrs Murphy and Mrs Gaias for their planning and organisaton of such a great day!

Week 10

Our Year 6 students visited Secondary today for an experience of what school is like as a Year 7 student.

We have teams heading to Legends of League on Wednesday and teams heading to the Soccer and Netball Gala days hosted here in Inverell on Thursday.
