ANZAC DAY MARCH

St Nicholas students are invited to attend the ANZAC Day March with the school on Saturday 25th April. Students will need to wear their full winter uniform (no hats please). Students will need to be dropped off in Bourke St (top side) at 9:30am. The March will begin at 10am. Students can be collected from Number 1 Oval in Kable Avenue at the conclusion of the march. 

COMPASS MEDIA CONSENT

IMPORTANT !!! Please make sure that you jump onto COMPASS and approve or decline the Media Consent event for your child or children.

SCHOOL DROP OFF AND PICK UP SAFETY 

A friendly reminder to adhere to safety measures when dropping off and picking up your children from school. Please make sure that you are mindful of not parking in driveways or allocated bus zones and are only using the designated car drop off/pick up area if you are not parking your car. 

SCHOOL UNIFORM - We wear it with pride!

At St Nicholas School we have high expectations with wearing our uniform with pride. We therefore seek parent and student support with wearing our uniform correctly each day. Each week for every student our sports uniform is to be worn Monday, Wednesday and Friday and our formal uniform is to be worn on Tuesday and Thursday.

We understand that at times students may need to wear an alternate piece of attire because of an unforeseen circumstance. If this is the case please email your child's class teacher to let them know.

VERITAS AWARDS

Our Veritas Awards stem from our school motto - ‘Veritas’ - meaning truth. The Veritas Award is awarded to students who have been consistently displaying citizenship, leadership and/or Christian Living. Students receiving a Veritas Award are those students who have displayed our ‘Rules for Living’ in their everyday interactions. We announce our Veritas award recipients at Friday morning assemblies every fortnight. PUPIL FREE DAYS

SUPERVISION OF STUDENTS

Supervision of students does not begin until 8.15 am each day.

St Nicholas School gates will not be open until the arrival of the first school bus at 8.15 am. It is not appropriate for children to be at school before this time with no supervision. 

If your child/children require care before 8.15 am, we recommend contacting Esteem Kids Before and After School Care, which operates on the grounds of St Nicholas School.
