Thank you to all the families who attended our school Family Afternoon Picnic on Friday. The students had a wonderful time with their family and friends and the weather was perfect!
See some pictures below.
Congratulations to our raffle winners!!

Congratulations to our 'Guess the lollies in the jar' winners!

Students in Grade 2 have been learning how to compare 2D shapes by identifying their features. During our learning tasks, students worked hard to share their understanding and explain their thinking. They were able to name a range of shapes and describe how the shapes are the same or different. Students also practised using mathematical language to talk about the features of shapes, such as sides and corners.

At Deer Park West Primary School, every Wednesday the school participates in Waste Free Wednesday. The students are encouraged to bring a lunch box with NO RUBBISH for both recess and lunch. This is a great way to reduce the amount of waste we create in order to make the earth healthier.
Please assist your child/children in doing this by taking items out of their packets before coming to school.
Thank you,
