NAPLAN Update

We would like to provide an update on this week’s NAPLAN testing.

As many families may have seen in the media, there were significant disruptions to the NAPLAN online testing platform on Wednesday morning, affecting schools across the country, including ours. Due to these technical issues, our Year 5 students were unable to properly complete the Writing test. All students were paused to ensure fairness and consistency. Once the platform was fully restored, students were able to resume their test on Thursday morning from the same point they left off.

Despite Wednesday’s challenges, we are pleased to share that Thursday morning’s NAPLAN sessions ran smoothly, with all students able to complete their assessments without interruption. We are incredibly proud of how our students approached the testing period—showing resilience, calm, and a positive attitude throughout. Their focus and determination have been wonderful to see.

Term 1 Celebration of Learning 

Each term, we hold a Celebration of Learning, where we invite families into their child’s classroom to share in what students have been learning and to celebrate their achievements.

Our Term 1 Celebration of Learning will be held on Friday, 27 March from 2:30–3:00pm.
