Hello DPW Community,

Whole School Picnic

Wow! What an amazing afternoon we had for our 2026 Family Fun Afternoon Picnic! It was fantastic to see all the families sitting around, finding shady spots and enjoying time with their children and friends. Walking around, it was clear that our students were having a fantastic time exploring the different activities on offer. 

Thank you to the staff, teachers and Education Support, for ensuring that our students stayed safe and engaged throughout the afternoon.

Junior School Council (JSC)

Congratulations to all the 2026 JSC class representatives! 

Being elected is a wonderful achievement, and each representative should feel incredibly proud.

Our JSC members play an important role in our school community. They act as positive role models, share feedback between their class and the council, and help organise school‑wide events and charity fundraisers. The JSC helps build a strong sense of pride, responsibility, and community by giving students a real voice in decision‑making.

Throughout the year, representatives often contribute to projects such as improving school facilities, supporting playground and classroom initiatives, and helping plan fun activities like sports days or theme days.

I’m looking forward to seeing how each JSC Representative grows in confidence, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills as they take on this leadership role.
