Student of the Week

P.E. - Chloe  (Be Respectful) Chloe consistently demonstrates outstanding teamwork, respect, and responsibility in Physical Education. Chloe is  always willing to help others, support their peers, and contribute positively to every lesson. Chloe consistently  sets the standard for effort for the whole class.

Visual Arts -Allen 5A (Be a Learner) Allen showed impressive skills as a learner in our photography composition lesson.  She was engaged in the content and strived to capture the composition elements of leading lines and framing, producing some outstanding high quality photos. Congratulations Allen!

Performing Arts - 6B Ziah (Be a Learner) Ziah demonstrated fantastic collaboration and communication with his team while script and storyboard writing. He displayed great respect and determination with his team to complete the task. Well done!

Chinese -  Shona 6C (Be a Learner) Shona for consistently demonstrating positive learning behaviours, especially through her willingness to share thoughtful ideas in class. She stays focused on her learning and strives for high‑quality results in Chinese. She has shown strong growth in her knowledge and speaks with clear, confident, and fluent pronunciation.

 

6A - Lenny - Lenny has shown wonderful maturity and enthusiasm in his learning. He is proving he can work efficiently and cooperatively with his peers, show respect, and takes real accountability for the quality of his work. I am proud of your effort and attitude Lenny — well done!

6B - for being a respectful student at all times in the classroom and showing a positive attitude towards your learning. Well done!

6C -Bill for working hard across all subjects, consistently completing all tasks to the best of his ability, and making thoughtful contributions during class discussions. Well done Bill. 

 

5B - Felix ‘Be a learner’ for being an active participant in all mini lessons, by thinking and sharing his ideas and thoughts. He has demonstrated all term that he is an active listener and eager to take part in the learning.

5C - Sophia ‘Be Safe’ for regularly facing the correct way in the line, to ensure there are no accidents. Sophia is a responsible student who adheres to all school rules, at all times. She is a natural leader amongst her peers. A great start to Year 5.

 

4A - Kyvaan (Be a Learner) for showing dedication to his learning by taking on extra homework and weekly extension activities. His enthusiasm, persistence, and commitment to improvement make him a wonderful role model for the class. Well done Ky!

4B - Alonso ‘Be a Learner’ for demonstrating pride and commitment in his learning since starting at DPW this year. He worked hard to produce a well structured narrative where he included a range of interesting WOW words. Terrific job, Alonso! 

4C - Tiana (Be Respectful) This award is for consistently showing kindness, acceptance and respect to your peers. It is really incredible to see the way you treat others. You should be very proud of yourself, Tiana 🙂

 

3A - Avei (Be a Learner) for demonstrating pride in her learning this week when completing challenging math tasks with clocks. She tried her best, remained focused and asked questions when needed. Well done Avei, keep it up! 

3B - Isaiah (Be a Learner) for taking pride in his learning this week and making noticeable improvements. He has made amazing progress which shines through his narrative writing. Keep up the fantastic work Isaiah! 

 

2A- Henry (Be a Learner) for demonstrating great perseverance when attempting to improve his narrative by consistently editing and including WOW words. Well done Henry! 

2B - Nooh (Be a Learner) for working very hard when constructing his narrative piece. He did  a wonderful job using adjectives to describe the characters and setting in his story. Keep up the amazing work, Nooh!

 

1A - Loni (Be a Learner) Congratulations to Loni for being a great learner in the classroom. Loni has done a  wonderful job settling into our class routines and showing a positive attitude towards learning. Even when tasks feel challenging, he shows persistence by having a go and asking for help when he needs it. He should be so proud of the effort he is putting into his learning. Keep it up!

1B - Elshania (Be a Learner) for demonstrating outstanding reading behaviours! During independent reading time, she truly shows what it means to be a real reader. She stays focused, reads for the whole time, avoids distractions, and always tries her very best. Her positive attitude towards reading is wonderful to see. Well done! Keep up the fantastic work, Elshania!

 

FA - Ethan for being an engaged learner across all areas, confidently recalling new information and showing great progress in phonics. He quickly learnt to identify letters and sounds and is now writing letters with correct formation.

FB - Kenneth (Be Respectful) This student demonstrates the school value of Respect by regularly putting away extra items – not just the things that he has been using. Kenneth has been a very helpful member of our class when it comes to pack-up time. Thank-you 😊

FC - Marlee (Be a Learner) Marlee has applied 100% effort during our Literacy Block since beginning school. She has shown excellent reading behaviours such as using the pictures to help with her reading and sounding out words to record the sounds she hears. I’m so proud of your efforts Marlee, keep it up! 🙂
