Grade 3/4 Camp – We Can't Wait!

The countdown is on! Next week our Grade 3/4 students will be heading off to Arrabri Lodge for three days of adventure, teamwork and fun. We are incredibly excited to spend time together exploring the outdoors, challenging ourselves with exciting adventure activities, and making new friendships and memories along the way. Camp is always a highlight of the school year, and we can't wait to share this experience with our students!

Camp Reminders

  • Arrival: Students should arrive at school by 8:30 am sharp on Monday morning with all of their belongings. We will meet in the school hall before loading the buses.
  • Saying Goodbye: Say goodbye to your child at 8:45 am, just before students prepare to board the buses.
  • Packing: Belongings must fit into one small overnight bag. A duffel bag is preferred over a suitcase, and students must be able to carry all of their own belongings independently.
  • Backpack: Students will need to bring a backpack to camp, carrying their snack, lunch and drink bottle for the first day. All other meals will be provided during camp.
  • Packing List: Please refer to the camp packing list for a complete list of required items and prohibited items.
  • Electronic Devices: In line with the Department of Education's Mobile Phones and Personal Devices Policy, students must not bring any electronic devices that can take photos, make phone calls, access the internet or track their location (including mobile phones and smartwatches).
  • Emergency Contact: An emergency camp phone number will be provided to all families on Monday. This number will be monitored by staff throughout camp and is to be used for emergencies only
  • Medication: If your child requires medication while at camp, please ensure it is clearly labelled and handed to a staff member on Monday morning, along with the completed Medication Authority Form.
  • Return Home: On Wednesday, we will be stopping at Healesville Sanctuary on our way back to school. We are expecting to arrive back at school at approximately 3:00 pm, and families will be notified of our arrival time on Wednesday afternoon.

We are looking forward to an unforgettable few days filled with new experiences, laughter and plenty of adventure. Thank you for your support in helping your child prepare for camp - we can't wait to share all the highlights with you when we return!
