Mother’s and Carer’s Day Stall

The Kalinda Parents and Friends will be running the Mother’s and Carers Day stall

on Wednesday, May 6th in the Multi-Purpose Room.

This is a cashless event, with tokens for purchase on QKR if you wish your child to

participate. There are options for $5, $10, $15 and other amounts through QKR.

Gifts range from $1, up to $10 for a gift pack.

If you are able to ‘pay-it-forward’, for other students experiencing hardship to

participate, there is an option to do this in QKR. For families that forget to pre-pay on Qkr, their child is still able to shop at the stall using Layby (maximum $20). A note will be sent home with these students after they have chosen their items at the stall.

A named shopping bag or plastic bag is an ideal way to carry and hiding

purchased gifts.

For any parents, families or guardians who would like to help at this event on

Wednesday, May 6th, please contact kalindapandf@gmail.com, and ensure you

have a current Working With Children Check. All volunteers will need to sign in at

the office on arrival before going to the MPR to help at the stall. Helpers are needed

from 9am to 2.30pm, and can stay the whole time or part of it.

Disco

The school disco will be on Friday 26th June, in the stadium during school hours. We are deep in planning for this event and will provide further details as it gets closer. 

P&F meeting
