School Value Mascots

This term, our JSC members have been busy collecting votes for our school value mascots, to be represented by different forms of local wildlife. The votes are now in!

The school value for Respect is the… Bee! 

There are several species of bees in Carlton Gardens that demonstrate Respect, including the Blue banded bee, which match our school colours!

The school value for Resilience is the… Turtle! 

The Eastern Long-necked Turtle is found all over Victoria, including Melbourne's waterways, urban creeks, wetlands, and ponds.

The school value for Inclusivity is the… Fairy Penguin!

Fairy Penguins are the only species of penguin that are native to Port Phillip Bay.

The school value for Curiosity is the… Dolphin!

The Burrunan Dolphin is found in Port Phillip Bay and are a newly identified species in 2011 unique to Victoria.
