From the Deputy Principals

Semester One Reports
The College has begun preparations for the Semester One Reports, which will be available for download via SEQTA in Week 11 of this term.
These reports provide students and families with a clear overview of academic progress, highlighting achievements and identifying areas for future growth. Reports for Years 10 to 12 will be released at the start of the week, with Years 7 to 9 following shortly after.
We encourage all students to use this opportunity to reflect on their learning and set meaningful goals for the second half of the year.
Parent-Student-Teacher Interviews – Monday 20 July
The second round of Parent–Student–Teacher Interviews will be held on Monday, 20 July, from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This is an important opportunity for families to discuss student progress and set future learning goals in partnership with teachers.
Please note that this day will be a Home Study Day for students who do not have scheduled interviews. If an interview has been arranged for your child, they are expected to attend with a parent or carer and must be dressed in full College winter uniform.
The online booking system will once again be Booked. Further details and instructions will be provided to families via SEQTA and email in the final week of this term.
Year 10 Subject Selection Information
As students move from Year 10 into Senior School, careful planning of their pathway becomes increasingly important. Terms 2 and 3 provide a valuable opportunity for students and families to begin thinking about subject choices and future goals for Years 11 and 12.
Students will be provided with detailed information at a Year 10 Assembly on Wednesday, 17 June, where they will be introduced to the available pathways and subjects for Year 11, along with clear guidance on the subject selection process.
Families are also invited to attend an online Subject Selection Information Evening on Monday, 29 June at 6:00 pm via Microsoft Teams. This session will outline the subject selection process in detail and provide guidance to help students make informed decisions about their options for 2027.
As students prepare to enter Senior School, we ask students and families to reflect on this critical stage of education and reaffirm their commitment to the College by re-signing the Ongoing Enrolment Agreement. Year 10 families are also asked to keep Monday, 20 July — the Term 3 Parent-Student-Teacher Interview Day — available to meet with a staff member and complete this process.
Please mark these key dates in your calendar to stay engaged in this important stage of your child’s educational journey.
Student Extended Absence
While we understand occasional absences may arise, it's important to note that the College discourages extended periods away from school unless under exceptional circumstances. Prolonged absence significantly disrupts teaching and learning programs and negatively impacts your child's academic progress.
Should your child be away from school for an extended period during term time, we request an Extended Student Absence Notification Form is submitted at least three weeks prior. These forms are available digitally through the SEQTA Documents Section as well as physically in Student Services.

St Norbert Day - Friday 5 June
On Friday 5 June we will celebrate St Norbert Day as a College. Students will be allowed to wear their Full PE Winter uniform with their House shirt to and from school. If students do not have these uniform items, they can purchase them from the School uniform shop in time for the day or wear Full Winter School uniform.
On this day we will celebrate Mass together. Parents and Caregivers are welcome to attend Mass in the O'Reilly Centre at 9:30am. This will be followed by Morning Tea which will be supplied to students by the College. Students will then watch the Staff vs Student Soccer Match and then students will meet in their Activity Groups and leave for their afternoon activities.
All students have been placed into an afternoon activity and all Consent2Go emails have been sent out to Parent/Caregivers. Parents/Caregivers are asked to please promptly provide consent for the activity and if required, pay for the activity via Consent2Go. If you would like to pay in person with cash/debit card a student or parent can come to Main Administration and ask to pay for their St Norbert Day activity.

Paul Litherland Presentation on Cyber Safety and Internet Awareness - 17 June
The College will be hosting a seminar by Paul Litherland on 17 June 2026 at 6:30pm. The event will be held in the Xanten Theatre. We would love to see as many parents as possible attend this engaging event.
For close to 20 years, Paul has been working at the coalface of online crime. Since 2008, he has worked specifically with juvenile victims and their families, and has used those experiences to develop highly informative presentations regarding the risks of the online world.
Since leaving the Western Australia Police in 2014, Paul has grown to become one of the nations most recognised and highly awarded educators in the fields of Cyber Safety and Internet Awareness, culminating in him being named the 2022 WA Australian of the Year.
