F-2 Class
(Mrs Bush and Ms Thorley)
Over the last two weeks, students have settled well into classroom routines and have been actively engaged in their learning. We began our swimming program, with students showing enthusiasm and confidence in the water. In PE and during playtime, students have been practising and developing their skipping skills.
In Literacy, we have continued our work on phonics, focusing on building sound and word knowledge to support reading and writing development. In Writing, students have been learning about postcards and have enjoyed creating and writing their own postcards using personal experiences of places they have visited.
In Mathematics, our Foundation students have started exploring shapes and identifying features of 2D objects. Our Year 1/2 students continued their learning about measurement of length before moving on to addition and subtraction strategies.
It has been wonderful to see students showing enthusiasm, persistence, and growing confidence across all learning areas.

22/5/26 - Rupert, for his efforts towards his learning in Maths with addition and subtraction and for his fantastic focus in Litearcy.Â
