Scholastic Book Fair Fundraiser

We would lek to extend a HUGE thank you to our school community for the outstanding support received last week in our annual Book Fair. The library was a haven of books, toys, diaries and all sorts of stationary. 

We had many parents in visiting and sold around $6,000 worth of goods . Our school will receive a percentage of this which will be put back into resourcing the school library.  

Book Fair Raffle:

Scholastic donated 2 books as prizes, so all students who made a purchase at the book fair had their names put in a raffle. We are pleased to announce our raffle winners were:

Zara Kyriakou (Yr 3 McNamara)

Bernie Davis (Y6 O'Hara).

Book Fair Helpers:

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to our parent helpers who came along mornings and afternoons to assist with running the book fair. Without your support we could not have operated the Book Fair.

Library News:

Now that the Book Fair is over, we have returned to having the library open before school for students and families to come in and enjoy reading books. We are open every day of the week from 8:30-9:00am. Students are able to borrow and return books in this time. 

On a Monday morning, we have a special Rhyme Time session for 0-5 years olds. We sing nursery rhymes and teach young ones some actions rhymes in this time.  Please join us for this session as well.
