PASS go Ice Skating!
Over the last few weeks, Year 9 and 10 PASS students laced up their skates and hit the ice at the Fairmont Ice Skating Rink for an exciting excursion. This opportunity was not just about being active, but for many it was also trying something new in a fun and supportive environment.
Students had the chance to practice balance, coordination, and agility while enjoying the thrill of gliding across the rink. For many, it was their first time skating or a return after a long break, and it was fantastic to see everyone encouraging each other and celebrating small wins—whether it was mastering a smooth glide or simply staying upright!
The excursion was more than just a fun day out—it tied directly to the PASS curriculum by emphasising the value of lifelong physical activity for health and wellbeing. It also provided students with a hands-on opportunities to build motor skills and resilience, especially as they stepped outside their comfort zones.
