Head of  Senior School

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

As we move into Week 6, the Senior School is buzzing with activity and a strong sense of purpose as we approach the end of the year.

This week we were pleased to welcome our incoming Year 7 2026 students for their Orientation Days. It was wonderful to meet so many enthusiastic young people as they begin their transition into high school. Their confidence, curiosity, and excitement were evident, and we look forward to supporting them as they join our community next year.

Our Year 9 cohort headed off to camp this week. The camp experience plays an important role in developing resilience, teamwork, and independence, and we hope the students return with great memories and a deeper sense of connection to one another.

At the same time, our Year 10 End-of-Year Program commenced, a valuable two-week initiative designed to support students in their transition into Stage 6. Each day begins with Tutor Group before students move into workshops and sessions that build academic confidence, study habits, wellbeing skills, and readiness for senior study. We appreciate the support of families in ensuring consistent attendance and engagement during this important part of the school year.

Our Year 11 students are now well settled into their HSC courses for 2025. Their focus, maturity, and enthusiasm have been evident in classrooms, and staff are pleased with the positive start they have made to their final year of schooling.

Our recently graduated Year 12 cohort continues to share wonderful news as early entry offers, scholarship opportunities, and employment pathways come through. We are incredibly proud of them and look forward to celebrating their achievements in the years ahead.

Thank you to our entire Senior School community—students, families, and staff—for your continued partnership and positivity during this busy time of year. Your support ensures our students can finish the term strongly and confidently.

Warm regards,

Alicia Michielsen
